See who's running for a seat on Berkeley Township and Central Regional school boards.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Ocean County Clerk's office has released the names of the candidates who filed to run for seats on Berkeley Township and Central Regional school boards this November.

There are three three-year terms available for the Berkeley Township Board of Education.

The only three candidates that filed in Berkeley’s Board of Education race were the three incumbents running under the slogan "Building Berkeley's Future."

Here are the candidates:

  • Douglas Bowens
  • Anne Marie Trethaway
  • John MacMoyle

James P. Coffey is also running unopposed to retain his seat on the board.

Meanwhile, the Central Regional Board of Education has four candidates running for two seats.

Here are the candidates:

  • Al Aires
  • George Dohn
  • Merissa Borawski
  • Heather Koenig

Two incumbents, Al Aires and George Dohn, are seeking reelection.

Aires and Dohn are running under the slogan "Honesty Integrity Safety." Borawski and Koenig's slogan is "Supporting Parental Choice."

Edward F. Cammarato is running unopposed to retain his seat on the board.

Election Day in New Jersey is Nov. 2.
