Brick Schools Announce Closure Due To Storm
The district announced an update to its weather decision for Wednesday, Feb. 12.
BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township School District will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 12, following overnight snowfall, the district announced.
The National Weather Service forecast predicted 4 to 6 inches of snow across most of Ocean County beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, and the storm delivered.
In announcing the closure, Brick Schools officials said they were informed by the township's Department of Public Works that the side roads in Brick were in poor shape for driving.

Sanitation and recycling collections are on as scheduled on Wednesday, town officials said.
