Pakala Re-Elected, 2 New Faces Set For Brick School Board: Unofficial Results
Three seats were up for election on the Brick Township Board of Education.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Board of Education will have two new members when 2025 begins, after the lone incumbent was re-elected to one of three seats on the school board, according to the unofficial results of the 2024 election.
There were three seats up for election, which are three-year terms.

With 57 of 57 districts reporting, incumbent Victoria Pakala was leading all candidates with 12,680 votes. Pakala is the only incumbent seeking re-election; current board president Stephanie Wohlrab and board member Nicole Siebert did not run again.
Among the remaining five candidates, George Malgeri, who was running on the Common Sense 4Education slate, was second with 12,098. John Henry, who was running with Pakala, was third with 11,628 votes according to the unofficial tallies.

Nancy Ellson, Pakala's other running mate on the Believe in Brick slate, was fourth with 11,431.
Georgia Lane-Hansen and Greg J. Cohen, Malgeri's running mates, received 10,979 and 10,948, respectively.
The vote totals remain unofficial until certified by the Ocean County Clerk.
