BRICK, NJ — Route 70 has reopened in Brick Township Tuesday afternoon, several hours after a crash that brought down at least one utility pole and wires, authorities said. Authorities have not yet released details on the crash that led to the road being closed between Route 88 and Brick Boulevard before 5 a.m.Access was partially restored by about 9 a.m., with the westbound lanes reopened, along with two eastbound lanes. But the road was closed in both directions again in the afternoon for about 30 minutes, police said. The crash knocked out electrical service to more than 900 homes but service was restored by about 9 a.m., according to Jersey Central Power &amp; Light.
