Delayed Opening For Brick Schools Amid Icy Forecast
The Brick Township School District has a delayed opening on Thursday, Feb. 6.
BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Schools have announced a two-hour delayed opening for Thursday, Feb. 6, due to the weather forecast and possible icy conditions, the district announced.
In addition to the Brick Township Schools, the Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools are on a delayed opening as well.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for most of New Jersey, with a wintry mix expected in Ocean County.

The coastal part of the county is expected to be spared the worst because temperatures are anticipated to warm up faster.
The rest of the area was expected to see a mix of snow turning to a mix for the morning commute Thursday, making for icy, hazardous conditions.
