Xander has a moderate hearing loss and wears hearing aids. This year his confidence in his diagnosis has reached new heights. While coming into his own he got the opportunity to educate some of his peers on hearing, hearing loss and his devices that help him. Beyond his own accomplishments he also became a mentor to a younger student in the community who now wears hearing aids. His kindness and compassion for others has made him a true leader.
