Grant Approved For Windward Beach Playground Repairs In Brick

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township has received a grant from the state Green Acres program to help pay for repairs to the playground at Windward Beach Park.

The grant, which was formally accepted by the township council on Tuesday night, will help pay for the $540,000 project to replace the safety surface at the park.

The grant from the state Department of Environmental Protection is for $405,000, and the township is paying the remaining $135,000, according to resolutions approved Tuesday night.
