BRICK, NJ — A crash on the northbound Garden State Parkway has jammed traffic south of Exit 89, causing a six-mile backup Tuesday morning, authorities said.The crash is in the area of milemarker 87.5 northbound, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Office. Traffic was backed up to the area of Exit 81 in Toms River, according to 511nj.org, the New Jersey Department of Transportation traffic website. The NJDOT website says one lane is closed in the area of the crash. Information about the crash was not immediately available.
