North Branch Fire Announces 2013 Officers

At the December meeting of the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company, elections were held for the officers for 2013.

The 85-year-old department has a staff of 50 volunteer firefighters, and responds to more than 500 calls for service each year. The firehouse is located on the property of Raritan Valley Community College in the north end of Branchburg.

The company responds to calls in Bridgewater and Branchburg with approximately equal amounts of calls in each town. North Branch is part of Fire District No. 3 in Bridgewater, along with Country Hills and Green Knoll Fire.

The firefighters will be sworn into office at the department's annual Installation Dinner by Bridgewater Mayor Dan Hayes.
