Somerset County Youth Police Week: Sign Up Now
Any teen high school student in the county interested in police work, or building a relationship with police, is encouraged to sign up.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Somerset County prosecutor's office and others are sponsoring a five-day "Police Youth Week" at the Somerset County Police Academy this July, giving kids a chance to see into the world of law enforcement.
It will run July 15 to 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The purpose is to introduce high school students to the career field and to "develop positive interaction between students and members of the law enforcement community," a prosecutor's office release says.
Participants will go through classroom and practical exercises. They design it to be cumulative, so kids who've gone in previous years will learn more, but first-timers are highly encouraged as well.
