Somerville Man Charged In Bias Intimidation Incident

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – A 29-year-old man was arrested in relation to a bias intimidation incident that took place on July 19 at the Al Falah Center, said Bridgewater Township Chief of Police John B. Mitzak.

Julian Dale was charged with fourth degree Bias Intimidation and a disorderly person’s offense of Criminal Mischief, police said.

Police said that Dale was seen driving a black Honda Civic bearing New Jersey registration onto the property of the Al Falah Center located in Bridgewater around 6:30 p.m. He left the mosque shortly after. Around 7 p.m., an employee of the mosque saw bias graffiti spray painted on a pillar near the main entrance of the building.

Bridgewater Detectives located Dale on July 22 and conducted an interview, where he was subsequently arrested, police said.
