2013 Cherry Hill School Board Race Will be Contested
Four candidates are vying for three seats.

There’ll be a race for Cherry Hill’s school board in November after three incumbents and one newcomer filed by the deadline Tuesday for the three seats open this year.
Current board members Sherrie Cohen, Elliott Roth and Steve Robbins all filed for re-election, and will face Susan Levy Warner, who led a group of parents earlier this year in raising concerns over alleged bullying by a Cherry Hill East teacher.
Both Roth and Robbins have served multiple terms on the board; Cohen is coming off her first three-year stint.

Last fall, a newcomer came on to the board, as incumbent Wayne Tarken was ousted by J. Barry Dickinson, who won by more than 3,000 votes.
