In the first clash of the fall for Cherry Hill's township rivalry, Cherry Hill East got the better of Cherry Hill West, sweeping to a 5-0 victory in girls tennis Tuesday.

East's players didn't lose a set on the way to the win, with Rachel Pham's victory over Elisa Truell (6-1, 6-1) and Gabrielle Zimmerman's win over Christine Hicks (6-2, 6-0) setting the pace on the singles side.

At doubles, Tyler Haaz and Rong Xiang knocked off Kayla Broyles and Samantha Weiss, 6-1, 6-1, while Kristina Klinisova and Lauren Romisher held off Gabrielle Eberhardt and Cathy Phan, 6-2, 6-3.

Allyson Wolf rounded out the sweep with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Michelle Nguyen.
