Cherry Hill West Sweeps Timber Creek on the Diamonds
Both the softball and baseball teams extend their winning streaks with wins over the Chargers.

A day after using the long ball to take down Bishop Eustace, the Cherry Hill West softball team gave visiting Timber Creek fits, dropping a half-dozen bunts and doing damage on the base paths in a 7-3 victory Friday.
Alicia DeFlaviis slapped her way on base four times, reaching twice on a combination of errors and speed, and scored three runs to help the Lions on offense. Sierra Machinski provided the only extra-base hit for West, smacking an RBI double in the first inning.
Jamie Robertson struck out four batters and forced Timber Creek into several 1-2-3 innings. Her only blemish was a two-run home run to the Chargers' Candice Dunn in the top of the seventh.
