District 4 American Legion Tournament Pushed Back By Rain
The weather left Union Field unplayable Tuesday.

Cherry Hill Post 372 will have to wait another day for a chance at a spot in the District 4 finals, after a line of thunderstorms left Union Field unplayable Tuesday evening.
The first game of the day had already been pushed back more than an hour when the storms rumbled through around 4:30, soaking the playing surface beyond the point where grounds crews could get it back in shape for the planned doubleheader.
The tournament's now been shifted back a day, with Tuesday's scheduled games going Wednesday at the same times. Cherry Hill will play West Deptford in the second game of the doubleheader, tentatively set for 7 p.m., or immediately after the end of the first game, which starts at 4 p.m.
