East Girls Lacrosse Dominates Seneca in Tuesday Sports

Cherry Hill East scored early and often, racking up 12 first-half goals on the way to a 19-9 victory over Seneca Tuesday.

Caitlin Delaney, Emily Johnson and Taylor Patrizi each scored four goals; Megan Thompson added three goals and five assists.

Bishop Eustace 4, Cherry Hill West 0

The Lions 10-game win streak came to an end at the hands of Eustace pitcher Zac Gallen, who threw a four-hitter and didn’t allow a single extra-base hit.

West shuttled through pitchers—Brad Machinski, Brandon Perna and Jeff Dixon—to shut down the Crusaders for six innings, but Eustace’s Mike Krusinski smashed a three-run triple in the seventh inning.

The Lions put together a four-run second inning to beat the Crusaders.

Alex Covelli fired a 37 to lead the Lions to victory.

Camden Catholic jumped out to a 6-3 lead in the first quarter on the way to victory Tuesday.

Adam Giordano scored seven goals to lead the Irish, and Dave McConnell and Brian Kohler each scored three times.

Lenape 13, East 3

The Cougars kept it close in the first quarter, but Lenape pulled away in the middle of the game to beat out East.

The Lions cruised to victory, 25-6, 25-13.
