Fireworks, Fourth of July Events Top the Week Ahead
The short holiday week is loaded with events.

Fireworks, concerts and other celebrations of America’s birthday dominate this week, as Cherry Hill celebrates Independence Day a day early—if the weather cooperates.
The township’s celebration, including a concert and fireworks, gets underway at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cherry Hill West’s Jonas Morris Stadium. Feeling extra patriotic? Erlton’s annual parade steps off an hour earlier, just a short drive from the stadium.
If thunderstorms roll through, as they have almost every day for the last week, there is a rain plan—the township’s celebration could be pushed back to July 5 in the event of bad weather.

Even with the short week, Cherry Hill government will still keep running, with the planning board set to meet Monday night at 7:30 p.m. and the zoning board moving up to Wednesday night. Agendas for those meetings aren’t yet available.
Also, nature lovers, take note—the county environmental center on Park Boulevard will host a lecture and nature walk on trees and shrubs of the Cooper River on Sunday.
