Gym Thief Went on Spending Spree, Police Say

Cherry Hill Police are asking for the public's help in trying to identify a woman they say went on a spending spree after stealing a gym member's keys last week.

The alleged thief walked into Planet Fitness on Route 70 Friday, grabbed a member's keys off a key rack and headed out to the parking lot to find the man's car, police said.

When she did, she stole his wallet, police said, then used the credit cards inside to rack up numerous charges at stores in the area.

She was caught on surveillance footage, however, and police are asking anyone who recognizes her to contact Detective Paul Hafner at 856-432-8824 or phafner@cherryhillpolice.com.
