Heroin User Tried to Make Bag of Drugs Vanish, Police Say

A Mount Holly man who had pulled over on Route 38 to shoot heroin ended up trying to destroy the evidence, Cherry Hill Police said.
By eating it.
Justice L. McCay, of the unit block of Regency Drive, had heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine on him when officers went to check on a car pulled over at Route 38 and Longwood Avenue around 8:11 Tuesday night, police said.

When the officers found out the driver had pulled over so McCay, a passenger in the car, could inject drugs, they went to check on the Mount Holly man, who swallowed a bag of what officers believed was heroin, police said.
McCay was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and cocaine, and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
