Kiosk Theft Nets Charges Against Maple Shade Man, Police Say

Facebook tips helped snare a Maple Shade man caught on surveillance footage while stealing money from a kiosk in the Cherry Hill Mall, Cherry Hill Police said.

William F. Clifford, of the 400 block of Stile Avenue, was charged last week with theft of movable property for stealing an unspecified amount of cash from the unattended kiosk back on May 28, police said.

Officers posted a surveillance photo of Clifford on Facebook a few days after the incident, which led to tips that aided the investigation and resulted in the charges against Clifford, police said.
