Tatina Carr began her career in 1993 as a Nurse Assistant and quickly moved up the ranks, earning her RN, then serving as a critical care nurse in a hospital, to the title of Unit Manager of a skilled nursing dementia unit, all while running a household and raising a family. She joined Lion's Gate in 2012 and today is a highly accomplished Director of Nursing, maintaining the highest standards of care for all residents. The community remains close to 100 percent occupied every single day due to the reputation she has built. Ms. Carr has led the way through the darkest days of COVID, caring for residents and staff alike. From humble beginnings and a drive to excel, Carr has achieved incredible professional growth.
