Marlton Teen Was With Shooters in Gloucester Twp.: Police

An 18-year-old from Marlton who was grazed in a shooting that killed a Gloucester Township man was with three people who have been charged in the incident, though he’s not likely to be charged himself, authorities said.

The still-unidentified teen was in the car with the three accused in the shooting of Lamar Ortiz at the Autumn Ridge apartment complex, authorities said, and was hit with a stray bullet when gunfire erupted out of a drug deal turned attempted armed robbery, according to a statement from the Camden County prosecutor.

Authorities initially charged a 16-year-old from Edgewater Park with shooting Ortiz, 20, but have since added charges against Joshua Texidor, 20, of Westampton, who is charged with felony murder and robbery, and a 17-year-old boy from Willingboro.
