Most Cherry Hill Sports Washed out by Rain Monday

Only two games went off as scheduled.

As it turns out, the only thing that can put a halt—at least temporarily—to the Cherry Hill West baseball team's winning streak is the weather.

Nearly every game at West, Cherry Hill East and Camden Catholic was wiped out by the weather Monday—and in East's case, all after-school activities were canceled by a threat at the school. Makeups have already been scheduled in some games, including West's baseball and softball teams, which will both play Tuesday.

In the day's action, West's boys volleyball team lost its opening set to Pennsauken, 21-25, before storming back to win the second and third sets, 25-21, 25-18, to win their 10th straight game.
