NJ Duo Charged In Death Of Pennsylvania Man: Prosecutor
The pair was charged with murder and weapons offenses in connection with the fatal shooting that took place Monday, authorities said.
CAMDEN, NJ – Two Camden County men were charged with murder and weapons offenses in connection with the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia man on Monday, authorities said.
At around 3:32 a.m., Camden police discovered a man later identified as Darrell Whichard, 31, of Philadelphia, on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound near the 1800 block of Davis Street in Camden City, according to a joint statement from Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
Officers transported the victim to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 10:24 a.m., MacAulay and Rodriguez said.

An investigation later led to Dominique Bowman, 38, of Lindenwold, NJ, and Jamel Granger, 18, of Clementon, NJ, being charged with first-degree murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in connection to the deadly shooting.
Bowman was arrested in Lindenwold on Tuesday by Camden City detectives; Granger was arrested in Lindenwold on Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force.

Bowman and Granger are currently lodged in the Camden County Correctional Facility.
