Parking Restrictions Relaxed for High Holy Days

Cherry Hill will allow parking on Kresson and Cropwell roads during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

With heavy turnout expected at Temple Beth Sholom for the annual High Holy Days, township officials are relaxing parking restrictions on the two major roads at the end of the first two weeks of September.

Parking along Kresson and Cropwell roads will be allowed both Sept. 5 and 6 and Sept. 13 and 14, with some restrictions, to allow for the overflow that usually occurs at the synagogue.

People will be able to park between Walden Court and Partridge Lane on Cropwell Road and between Harrowgate and Cooper Run Drive on Kresson Road, though parking will remain restricted within a 250-foot section around the signal at the intersection of Cropwell and Kresson.

The relaxed parking rules are in effect from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Sept. 5 and 6, from 5 to 10 p.m. Sept. 13, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 14.
