Somerdale Road Closed Because of Water Main Break
Drivers can use Evesham Road to get around the closure, but are asked to avoid the area if possible.
Because the Evesham Road-Berlin Road-Somerdale Road intersection road wasn't bad enough already, a water main break has shut down Somerdale between Bergen Avenue and Berlin Road, potentially tying up traffic while repairs are made Thursday morning, Voorhees Police said.
The break came at Somerdale Road and Camden Avenue, police said, and emergency repairs required shutting the road down as quickly as possible.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if at all possible, though Evesham Road is being used as an alternate to get around the scene of the break.
No timeline was immediately released for the repairs.
