South Jersey Girls Invitational Golf Titles Go to West Duo

A pair of Cherry Hill West golfers scored top-10 finishes to snare both the overall and team titles at the South Jersey Girls Invitational Tuesday.

Lisa and Kyra Denish fired a 38 and a 41, respectively, at Centerton Golf Club to beat out Buena by four strokes to give the Lions the team title.

Lisa's three-over-par finish gave her a two-stroke victory over Danielle Elia, of Pinelands, and Erica Han, of Lenape, for the individual crown. She bogeyed just three holes and finished with three straight pars to separate herself from the field.

Kyra's 41 was good for seventh overall in the tournament, which featured 65 players.
