The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. near the Mount Laurel interchange.

An accident that saw a big rig flip and burn, shutting down the northbound New Jersey Turnpike just before 8:30 a.m. has been mostly cleared, and traffic is moving past the scene, New Jersey State Police said.

The accident happened around milepost 34, near the Mount Laurel interchange, causing major delays on the Turnpike through the morning. Two lanes northbound had been reopened by 11 a.m., police said, and the southbound lanes were all open.
