West Infielder Picked for Inaugural Underclassmen Baseball Showcase
A.J. Wright will head to Flemington this week for a new tournament featuring younger high school players.
The high school baseball season may be officially over, but Cherry Hill West's A.J. Wright isn't stopping any time soon.
The sophomore, who's already been named to the Olympic-Colonial team for the annual Carpenter Cup, got another all-star invite for a new tournament taking place this week.
Wright, a middle infielder for the Lions, was named to the South team for the inaugural Garden State Underclassmen Games, which are scheduled for Wednesday.
