Marijuana Dispensaries, Tax Up For Final Vote In Cinnaminson

CINNAMINSON, NJ — There will be public hearings and final votes on a pair of proposed ordinances concerning the sale of recreational marijuana in Cinnaminson Monday night.
Cinnaminson Township Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 1621 Riverton Road.
The first proposal concerns an amendment to township zoning regulations to include a section regarding cannabis establishments. The second proposes a tax of either 1 or 2 percent on cannabis sales, depending on the license.

A public hearing and final vote will also be held on a proposal concerning the sale of impounded vehicles. A zoning ordinance titled “Any Use Not Expressly Permitted is Prohibited” will be introduced.
