Shots Fired At Occupied Union County Home, Under Investigation: Police
No one was injured and police are investigating the motive of the shooting.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A shooting took place early Wednesday morning on Hawthorne Avenue in Union, according to police.
Union Police received several 911 calls reporting shots fired on the 2600 block of Hawthorne Ave. at around 6:24 a.m. The home that was targeted was occupied at the time of the shooting, but none of the occupants were struck by the gunfire or had any injuries, police said.
Officers found several shell casings at the scene. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation by Union Police at this time.

The Union County Sheriff's Crime Scene unit is also helping with the investigation.
