Tanker Truck Crash Shutters Road in Union County

W. Inman Avenue between Jefferson and Madison avenues in Rahway have been closed after a tanker truck crashed and collided with parked cars.

The truck crashed into cars parked along the side of W. Inman Avenue, according to a report from CBS New York. One vehicle ended up on its roof and further down the street from the truck, the report said.

No serious injuries have been reported.

It is not clear if the tanker truck was carrying anything, but fire crews were dispatched immediately, CBS New York said. Fire authorities evacuated the area as a precaution.
