Man Hit Guardrail, Killed In Parkway Crash In Union County: Police

A 24-year-old man was killed in a car crash on the Garden State Parkway in Clark early Sunday morning, according to State Police.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A 24-year-old Union County man was killed after crashing into a guardrail and tree on the Garden State Parkway early Sunday morning, according to New Jersey State Police.

Keyshawn Alexander of Linden was traveling northbound on the highway in a BMW 335XI when he hit a Nissan Altima. As a result, the BMW traveled off the roadway to the right and hit a guardrail and tree, State Police said.

The crash occurred in Clark Township around 1:32 a.m.

Alexander sustained fatal injuries from the crash. The driver and passenger of the Nissan sustained minor injuries, according to police.

State Police are continuing to investigating the cause of the crash.
