Clark Store Sells $10K Winning Lottery Ticket
A lucky lottery player scored $10,000 by matching four of five numbers and hitting the Mega Ball with a ticket bought in Clark.
CLARK, NJ — A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was sold in Clark, according to lottery officials, with a third-tier prize. The winning ticket was among six other third-tier prizes.
The Tuesday, May 21 drawing's winning numbers were 10, 50, 55, 56 and 58 with a Gold Mega Ball of 15 and a multiplier of 05. These seven winners matched four of five numbers and got the Gold Mega Ball. One, sold in Mount Holly, hit the five-times multiplier too.
The Clark Lunch Box was the store where the $10,000 ticket was sold.

There were 35 other players who hit four numbers, but got $500 because they didn't hit the Mega Ball. Four of them elected to use the Megaplier option, which boosted their winnings to $2,500.
Nearly 52,000 New Jersey players came out with nearly $250,000 in prizes from $2 to $1,000.

“For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight," said James Carey, the New Jersey Lottery acting executive director.
