4th of July Parade, Fireworks Set for Thursday
Local celebrations for the national holiday.

Are you ready for the holiday weekend?
Some residents may be heading on vacation, to the shore or to another location this Fourth of July. For those who stay in town, Florham Park and East Hanover offer plenty of ways to observe the holiday and keep in festive spirits.
The Fourth of July parade in Florham Park begins at 9 a.m. when officials raise the flag at the Brooklake Road firehouse. From there the parade will proceed to the Great Lawn in front of the Florham Park Municipal Building, where a picnic will be held for the rest of the day.
Florham Park's fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Rain date for the fireworks is Saturday.
In East Hanover, fireworks begin at Lurker Park at 9:15 p.m. The park opens at 8 p.m. with a DJ and food.
