Let It Grow, Let It Grow: Florham Park PD Participating In No-Shave November

The Florham Park Police Department will be raising money and awareness for pancreatic cancer.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.– Starting Tuesday, members of the Florham Park Police Department will be raising money and awareness for pancreatic cancer by participating in No-Shave November.

Members of the police department will be allowed to let their beards grow beginning Nov. 1 and ending on Dec. 1, Chief Robert Treiber said.

According to its website, No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education.
Since its inception, the campaign has raised over $3.5 million, according to the website.

All participating members will donate a minimum of $30 and their contribution will be matched by Florham Park PBA Local #78, Treiber said.
