Residents Say: Give Us a Grocery Store
East Hanover residents say a grocery store would improve their quality of life more than any other business in town.

East Hanover residents who voted in our poll over the last 10 days have made their opinions clear.
By a margin of over 60 percent, residents say they want a grocery store in the township.
A generic grocery store would be preferable to a health food store, according to poll results, but either option is more appealing than anything else that could come to town: More than a vintage clothing store, an antique store, another restaurant or a hair salon.
In the comments of the article and poll, users said the Wegmans that will come to Parsippany and the Whole Foods that will come into Morristown are not close enough for their comfort. With no grocery store located in East Hanover and the nearest option for most residents being Trader Joe's in Florham Park, having a grocery store within township limits is something you told us would improve your experience in town.
