Teen, 2 Adults Assault, Rob Patrons At NJ Restaurant, Police Say

A group of men entered Super Pollo II in Trenton and "brutally assaulted patrons," police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – Two adults and a 14-year-old have been charged after they entered an eatery, assaulted and robbed the patrons, Trenton Police said.

Darrius Wade, Fausto Delacruz and a 14-year-old have been charged with weapons offenses and multiple counts of robbery, Trenton Police said.

On July 14, around 9:45 p.m., Trenton Police responded to Super Pollo II restaurant at 1109 South Clinton Avenue for a report of an assault in progress.

According to investigation, a group of males entered the eatery and “brutally assaulted patrons inside the establishment,” police said.

The males repeatedly punched the victims, kicked them, and hit them with chairs and barstools. They also took property belonging to the victims, police said.

Following the investigation, three of the five people were charged.
