20-Inch Water Main Break In Edison Affects Thousands

Edison Water Utility crews and emergency repair crews are working to isolate the break.

EDISON, NJ - Thousands of people have been affected by a water main break in Edison on Thursday morning.

Around 12 a.m. on Thursday, a 20-inch water main break occurred in the area of M Lane and Woodbridge Avenue.

The break has impacted water service along Woodbridge Avenue, Route 27, and parts of Talmadge Road. Residents will experience little to no water pressure at present, officials said.

Edison Water Utility crews and emergency repair crews are on site and working to isolate the break from the rest of the water system.
