3 More Edison Firefighters Deployed To Assist In Hurricane Relief
The members will relieve the three firefighters who have been working in Asheville, NC for the past two weeks.

EDISON, NJ – Three additional members of the Edison Fire Department have been deployed with New Jersey Task Force 1 to aid in hurricane relief, Mayor Sam Joshi said.
Battalion Chief Anselmo, Captain Pellegrino and Firefighter Yourstone will be deployed with NJ-TF1/FEMA disaster assistance. They will relieve Battalion Chief Pat Novia, Captain Mike Sacchi and Firefighter Matt Gabriel who spent two weeks in FEMA disaster assistance and rescue missions in Asheville North Carolina, as Hurricane Helene devastated the area.
“Edison is among the small number of municipalities that has highly specialized skilled firefighters that are trained to work with FEMA in all kinds of conditions,” Joshi said. “Edison is proud to help our fellow Americans.”
