Edison Apartment Developer Proposes To Add Daycare Center To Property

EDISON, NJ — An apartment complex located at Plainfield Avenue in Edison hopes to add a daycare center on its property.

Blueberry Village Inc., located at 453 Plainfield Ave., has proposed to construct a 10,500-square-foot building that will house a daycare center, a play area, and 45 parking spaces among related site infrastructure.

The daycare center is proposed on a vacant lot. The property is located at the intersection of Plainfield Avenue and Metroplex Drive.

The applicant is seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval, including variance for minimum lot width if needed.

The township's Planning Board is expected to hear the application on May 13.
