Edison To Host St. Patrick's Day Block Party On March 15

There will also be a leprechaun costume contest and the top three winners will win a prize.

EDISON, NJ — St. Patrick’s Day is observed every March 17, with parades, good luck charms and all things green. And although it first started as a religious holiday, over time it’s become a celebration of Irish culture.

Edison will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day block party on Saturday, March 15, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Old Stewarts Lot, 922 Amoby Avenue.

Attendees can enjoy traditional Irish music, dance, arts and crafts, food vendors, and a beer garden.

There will also be a leprechaun costume contest. The top three winners will receive a prize. All ages are welcome to join. Judging will take place at 4 p.m.
