Edison Police K9 Helps Locate Missing Child
The 7-year-old boy had wandered away from his parents at a local park.

EDISON, NJ – K9 Apollo, from the Edison Police Department recently helped the department locate a missing child, authorities said. The boy was found in Woodbridge.
Apollo, along with K9 Officer Steve Martin were dispatched to Dudash Park on report of a missing child.
According to police, a 7-year-old boy had wandered away from his parents while at the park. K9 Apollo was able to track the child through the park onto the Greenway into Woodbridge Township.

The child was safely located and returned to his parents, police said.
K9 Apollo joined the Edison Police Department in September 2022. A Belgian Malinois, K9 Apollo is trained in explosive detection and tracking.
