Metuchen Has Digitized Parking Payments Via Mobile App
The service is available for 756 on-street and off-street parking spaces.
METUCHEN, NJ – Parking in downtown can sometimes get tedious. To make the process smoother, Metuchen has now digitized parking payment.
The Borough has partnered with ParkMobile to provide digital parking services for 756 on-street and off-street parking spaces.
Residents and visitors can now pay for parking and extend their time via the ParkMobile app.

“This new app will provide residents, commuters, and visitors with a seamless, contactless payment option, making parking more convenient for all,” Mayor Jonathan M. Busch said.
“I appreciate the efforts of the Metuchen Parking Authority to respond to customers’ desire for another mobile payment option by now making ParkMobile available in Metuchen.”

ParkMobile is focused on expanding the integration of its mobile parking payment system across the Garden State.
"New Jersey is one of our most active markets, and we’re committed to making parking more seamless for drivers while supporting the Borough’s efforts in curb management and traffic flow," David Holler, vice president of sales at ParkMobile, said in a statement.
"With hundreds of parking spaces now available through our app in Metuchen, we’re proud to collaborate with the Borough and the Metuchen Parking Authority to enhance parking accessibility and support a more efficient mobility."
ParkMobile is available on iPhone and Android devices and can be accessed on a mobile web browser.
To pay for parking via the ParkMobile app or website, users will enter the zone number found on the signs located within the parking lot or on meter stickers, choose the duration of time they wish to park and touch the “start parking” button.
