Warehouse Proposed Near Edison-Metuchen Dog Park

A public hearing on the application is scheduled for the Oct. 15 meeting.

EDISON, NJ – Another warehouse is being proposed in Edison.

Applicant 135 Whitman Renewal LLC., has filed and preliminary and final site plan approval to build two warehouses on Whitman avenue near Edison-Metuchen Dog Park.

According to application filed with the township’s planning board, the property is currently vacant.

Building 1 is be 50,400 square feet, which would include 4,300 square feet of office space along with 31 parking spots and 11 trailer spaces.

Building 2 is to be 10,125 square feet with 1,200 square feet of office space, according to documents.

The existing access on the property for the adjacent Edison-Metuchen Dog Park will be maintained, documents say.
