SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Two suspects are wanted in connection with a home burglary in Saddle Brook Wednesday, police said.

The homeowner alerted police that two men entered the home after he remotely checked security cameras that detected movement, said Chief Robert Kugler.

At first, police suspected the men might be in the house when they arrived, so they set up a perimeter and entered, Kugler said. The house was empty.

Video footage shows the suspects have dark skin and were wearing hooded sweatshirts, Kugler said.

"It's unusual to a burglary in the middle of the day, and it's likely the suspects knew the homeowners were not home," Kugler said.
