Woman Robbed At Gunpoint At Saddle Brook Bus Stop: Police
She was waiting in the bus stop shelter on the shoulder of Route 46 at 6th Street, police said.
SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A woman was robbed at a bus stop Sunday night, police said.
A 56-year-old Brooklyn woman was robbed just before midnight at the bus stop shelter on the shoulder of Route 46 eastbound at 6th Street, said Chief Robert Kugler.
She was waiting for a New York-bound bus when a dark-skinned man dressed in dark-colored clothes approached her, pointed a handgun at her, and demanded her wallet, Kugler said.

The man took the woman's wallet and left. The woman flagged down a passing driver who called 911, and reported what happened, the chief said.
An unspecified amount of cash, credit cards, and identifications were inside the wallet.

Police are reviewing footage from surveillance cameras.
"The victim was distraught and emotionally upset, as you can imagine," Kugler said.
