Committee Seeking State Aid for Substance Abuse
The Township Committee has been authorized to apply for a grant to help those suffering from substance abuse.

In the interest of helping Township residents suffering from alcohol and drug abuse, the Township Committee is seeking aid from the state.
At the Feb. 15 Committee meeting, all Committee members voted yes to a resolution that authorized an application to the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Through the County of Monmouth.
The resolution states that the Township Committee recognizes that it is necessary for every member of the community to take action to prevent such abuses. The Committee is doing their part by applying to the Governor's Council for a grant in the amount of $40,745.
