Fireworks Caused Gunshots Report At Movie Theater: Freehold Twp. PD
Gunshots reported to police on Tuesday night were actually fireworks being set off, Freehold Township police said.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gunshots reported to police on Tuesday night were actually fireworks, Freehold Township police said.
Police first received reports of shots fired at 11:26 p.m. on Tuesday near the AMC Freehold 14 movie theater at 101 Trotters Way.
After looking through videos and talking to witnesses, police determined the gunshots were fireworks being set off behind the movie theater. Police did not say who set off the fireworks.
