Hydrant Flushing Begins In Freehold Township

Flushing will continue through Nov. 22, Freehold Township said.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Hydrant flushing has begun in Freehold Township.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, the Freehold Township Water Department will conduct hydrant flushing until Friday, Nov. 22.

According to officials, flushing may cause water to become slightly discolored. To resolve this issue, officials advise residents to run cold water for several minutes.
